Two days march of the Lithuanian army and the public
For already ten years it is a summer tradition to participate in the two days foot walk “Radvilu keliais” organized in Jonava district.
The foot walk is organized by a Training regiment of the Lithuanian army but it is opened for civilians as well. Everyone who wants to try yourself, to test yours stamina and strength can participate in the march. Moreover it is a great example of the communication between the military and the society as sincere talks begin during long kilometers on foot, civilians can find answers to the intrigued questions about the soldiers’ everyday life, difficulties and sights during the training. The foot walk is also an opportunity to know more about the beautiful Lithuania’s nature, to find its riches, to understand in what green and clean country we are living. And for the foreigners’ participants the march is a great chance to find out the small but great our country and to know more about Lithuania’s military forces, to ken Lithuanians.

Main information about this year foot walk:
» 10th march will be held on 23-25th of July in Rukla, Jonava district.
» Organizers of the march are the Lithuanian army Training regiment.
» Routes of the march: 1st day – 12 / 22 / 32 or 42 km, 2nd day – 12 / 22 / 32 or 42 km , during both days – 24 km (12+12 km), 44 km (22+22 km), 64 km (32+32 km) or 84 km (42+42 km).

» It is obligatory to have a statements about the health condition and an ID that confirms person‘s age and a documentary photo for the production of participant license. It might be that settlement in barracks will be provided not for all participants; in this case the priority will be given for families with children and girls. All soldiers must have a sleeping-bags, carpets and tents, as for civilians it is only recommended to have your own. It is possible to arrive on the eve of the march (23th of July) but than it is necessary to have your own tents, sleeping-bags etc.
